Here are a few things currently happening that will cost you much more money if you choose to wait to replace your system:
- There are utility rebates for high-efficiency systems in addition to recycling rebates. The utility rebates can vary, but we usually see $450, and the recycling rebate is $500.
- Your older system costs you at least $900 more in utilities if you choose to wait three years to replace your system, as well as costing you at least another $1,000 in repairs.
- Inflation. I know you’re tired of hearing about it. Supply chain issues, raw material costs, manufacturing plant shutdowns, and government regulations. Things are going to cost more in the future. We’ve seen price increases of 15%-20% in the last year alone. We think this will ease slightly, but we are still anticipating 10%-15% each year for the next several years. This increase could mean another $3,000 if you wait 3 years to replace your system.
